Strategy 2018
What a great weekend the Scouts have had. Strategy 2018 was our first and it was incredible. Such a lovely atmosphere, fabulous events and great entertainment.
Our Scouts went out in their patrols and spent most of Saturday trying to find bases to partake in events. The more bases participated in, the more points could be gathered. And what a wide variety of activities there were. Scouts have been taking part in digiwall, hanging up washing, putting up tents whilst blind folded, riffle shooting, frisbee golf, obstacle courses and many, many more. Some of them even found the cave couch.
Fabulous team works has resulting in some patrols ranking well, when considering there were 295 teams in the woods taking part in the challenge.
Our patrols managed to rank as follows:
- OTTERS – 39th place
- WOLVES – 61st place
- CURLEWS – 89th place
- SEAGULLS – 232nd place

Hopefully you have heard many stories from your young person already, and have been following us via Twitter. We managed to put some pictures up during the event, but there will be more to follow ones they have appeared on the Strategy website.
One thing is for sure, we will be back next year!
