Dear Parents,

We now have the final details for our Uniform Groups Family service on Tuesday 12^th February.  The service will be themed around Anniversaries as the Church and Scouts will be commemorating their Diamond Anniversary. Each group will be making diamond shapes that will be hung as bunting around the church. The children will be encouraged to read their inscriptions.

The service will commence at 6.15pm and finish approximately at 7.00pm; we ask that you bring your child for 6.00pm as normal so we can prepare them for the parade into church. We can then select the Standard party for each section – full uniform please. Parents, friends and family are very welcome to stay and join in. 

The Brownie section will be leading the service with the minister: as it is their normal meeting night. There will be an investiture ceremony for all new members, during the service.

At the end of the service, there will be an opportunity to have refreshments themed as a Birthday Party, so we are asking if you could kindly bring a small cake or cakes that we can share. The 78^th are helping to run this, so would welcome volunteers with open arms!

Ps does anyone still have an original beaver, cub or scout uniform from back in the day? It would be lovely to use it during the service.
